DR. SHELLY MELIA

 Shelly Melia serves as Associate Dean and Program Director for the Master of Arts in Children’s and Family Ministry at Dallas Baptist University. 

She speaks throughout the nation at NextGen conferences. She is a repeat speaker at Lifeway’s ETCH, Children’s Pastor Conference, Heart of the Child, Early Childhood Christian Network, the Child Discipleship Forum, Conclave, and D6 Family Ministry Conferences. 

She is an editor and contributor for the new book, Children and Salvation, and co-author with Shane Pruitt for the June 2026 book, Reaching Generation Alpha.
